Insulsafe Textiles, Inc. was founded in 1992 in Lewiston, Maine with a goal of manufacturing woven cloth for industrial applications. We do our own warping and slashing of both spun and filament yarns. Our weaving plant contains projectile, air jet, and rapier looms with widths up to 150”. We are ISO-9001 certified and do continual testing of raw materials, work in process and finished goods. We manufacture a full line of scrims for filtration made with various yarns like Polyester, PPS, Meta aramid, P84, homopolymer acrylic and anti-static polyester/stainless steel.
