Description

We help emerging fashion brands/designers by providing the resources they need to start a business, design and manufacture a sewn product and get it to market without meeting the minimums at huge overseas factories and without leaving Arizona. We are Arizona's only fashion incubator. Through a partnership between the City of Tempe, FABRIC Tempe (the non-profit), AZ Fashion Source (the manufacturer), and LabelHorde (the sourcing directory, education, consulting and tech pack assistance), we are disrupting a tired, outdated, unsustainable industry and providing a new, sustainable, responsible, innovative approach to modern apparel manufacturing. In mid-March of 2020, as businesses began to shut down and the PPE shortage became the nation’s biggest concern, FABRIC began its transformation from fashion incubator to PPE manufacturer. By mid-May FABRIC has made over 20,000 reusable isolation gowns for Arizona’s large and small healthcare facilities and is only just beginning.
