Dillon Yarn Corporation has its roots in the textile industry dating back to the mid 1920’s. The company began dealing in yarn, with the product line growing to other fibers and expanding the business nationally and internationally. In the 1980's a partnership was made with Duplan Texturing Company in Dillon, South Carolina. Duplan supplied various US textile manufacturing companies with textured synthetic yarn. Future growth will come from new markets served as well as downstream processing. Markets that have been traditionally greige goods are now adding value and providing finished goods. A new division, Dillon Apparel, has jump-started a move into the West Coast Knitted Apparel market with key executives being brought into Dillon Yarn to lead the initiative. Industrial Yarns have always been a strength for Dillon and new markets for heavier denier yarns are being targeted for significant growth. The Dillon Yarn Corporation has developed a versatile manufacturing and sourcing company, which is financially strong, low cost, and flexible to meet the everyday challenges the textile market and our customers are facing.
